Buddy Reading

Today we did buddy reading and my partner was Piripe. The book that we were reading was the wimpy kid. The story is about this kid who gets bad luck and there's also a movie about the book too. After we read it but we didn't  read all of it we only read up to page 15. After that book we read a book about volcanoes but we only got to bage 5 because we had to pack up. When Piripe didn't know the word I had to say the word or sound out the words.

Mean, Mode,Median and Range

Hi my name is Royal and i'm going to talk about mean, mode, median and range im going to talk about them one by one.

First you have to pick random numbers and some of the numbers can be 3 times or 2. Now i'm gonna talk about what mean is. Mean is not when you say whats them meaning of awesome it's not that mean. Do you still remember the random numbers that I told you to pick yea well put them in order smallest to biggest. then I want you to plus all of the numbers together add that answer that you got and then divide it by how many numbers you have. Now i'm gonna talk about mode. What mode is it's the common number. Median is the middle number. now we are up to the last one range. What range is its when you subtract the highest number and the lowest number.

Earthquake Drill

On Thursday the 18th on 2018 all of the schools in New Zealand at 9.30 did a national shakeout drill. If you don't know what a shakeout drill is it's when you practice your earthquake skills like drop cover hold.  Drop cover hold is when you go under a table or a desk if you are at school you. Go underneath the table and you hold the legs of the table and if you want to you can put you hands on your head to feel stuff. What the logo is for our earthquake shakeout drill is What's the Plan Stan? When we were finish with the shakeout drill we got tattoos and stickers. Why we do shakeout drill is because when there's a real earthquake everyone knows what to do and when we do it no one messes around and no one being silly.
