In our class we have a killer plant called a pitcher plant. Pitcher is another word for jug because the plant actually looks like a jug. A pitcher plant is a carnivore. A carnivore means a meat eater like a lion and a tiger. There are 4 rules for the pitcher plant that we need to follow and it is keep it moist but not wet, the plant likes lots of light, normal room temperatures, and don't fertilise the plant while it is eating a insect. Pitcher plant have little hairs that face downwards so that the insects cant get up.plants have this sticky stuff in the pitcher pant so that the insect can not get out.
